Rules of Engagement:
Rather than detail out a lengthy list of dos and don’ts we will keep this simple:
We are a FW corp, our direct enemies are those within the Minmatar and Gallente militia. They are who you should be fighting. There may also be individual corporations and alliances that may seek conflict with us, in the event of such ‘wardecs’ open engagement will be encouraged.
In addition to this we have many ‘corp contacts’ set red, they are either straight forward supporters of our enemies (such as Electus Matari or Ushra’Khan) or underhanded ‘neutral’ spies/backers of our enemies (such as Tenanbuam or Zenton’s alts in Ryn Incorporated). Both may and should be freely engaged when give opportunity.
Aside from the above, we do not want to see our members attacking neutral parties. Defending yourself is accepted, but being the aggressor is not. Partial exception to this is if a trusted allied FC calls for a preemptive strike on targets he/she believe are likely to be hostile. In this case it is up to the discretion of our individual pilots to decide their course of action.
All situations that result in a loss of security status, regardless of reason, must be followed up with an ‘after action report’ explaining what happened in detail to one of the directors or appropriate Council members of the corp. These can be as simple as “saw Tenanbuam’s pod afk at a gate, hijinks ensue” or as detailed as explaining exactly why the fleet you were with trekked into highsec to engage that neutral freighter. Appropriateness of any GCCing will then be decided by the heads of the corp. Less than truthfulness in any after action reports will be ground for dismissal.
Rule of Conduct:
We expect our pilots to honor any prearranged duels that they or another is part of. Use of game mechanic exploits will also not be tolerated within our ranks. We should all strive to play with a sense of dignity and respect, even if it is rare to find in others. On that note, trolling and needless cruelty on forums and in chats is also not something we want to see.
Along with our rules of engagement limiting ‘GCCing’ we expect our pilots to maintain a security status above -2.0. In addition to the logistical and tactical problems of low security status fleet members, being an Amarr Empire supporting corp it is important to us that all our members be able to go to the Amarr system when ever they desire or deem necessary.
The corp does not operate under a strict ‘rank’ system. Frankly, we are all people playing a game to have fun, so ideally we should be working towards being an ‘extended friend group’ rather than ‘bosses and employees’.
Aside from being a general contributor and good member of this group, we will not demand things of our members. We do not require a certain number of hours logged, or people to have specific ships ready at all times. Though there may be times when you are asked to do something, it is just that, asking. Other than sticking to corp rules, the heads of the corp will never demand anything from you.
